About me...

Hello! My name is Libby Zamiska, and I am a Lighting Designer and technician based in Los Angeles, California.

In 2023 I earned my Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technical Production specializing in Lighting Design from The University of Alabama. I attended college at Bowling Green State University (go falcons!) where I studied theatre and discovered my passion for Lighting Design. 

I have been an admirer of the entertainment lighting industry since I was very young, attending Rush and Tom Petty concerts with my family. The adrenaline and joy that rushes through you during your favorite song at a concert you've been counting down the days to is a feeling like no other, and I always remember noticing how electric the lighting was. Combining that feeling that I've cherished for many years with my passion for theatre and storytelling to become a lighting designer has landed me right in the industry I've always wanted to be in, living my dreams one gig at a time.
